A 42-year-old Annapolis man was charged with the July 4 burglary of a home in Fairland, according to online court documents. The defendant forced entry into a home in the 3900 block of Greencastle Ridge Drive around 11:20 p.m. Thursday, July 4, according to Montgomery County Police. A spokesperson for the department said the man ransacked the home and left before police arrested him. The defendant knows the homeowner, according to police. Montgomery County Police are looking for two women who stole another woman’s purse before hitting her with a vehicle. The women are thought to be between 50 and 60 years old and between 24 and 30 years old. (Detailed descriptions were not given to police.) The victim, an adult female, saw one of the suspects entering the passenger side window of her vehicle while it was parked at the WSSC Watershed, 2200 Ednor Road, on Saturday, March 17 around 12:45 p.m. The suspect took the victim’s purse from the car. Montgomery County Police arrested a 13-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy last week for the assault and robbery of another juvenile, according to a crime summary released by the department. The victim told police that the boys grabbed him, assaulted him and stole his MP3 player in the 11400 block of New Hampshire Avenue in White Oak on Wednesday, March 14 at 8:30 a.m. The boy saw the suspects later in the evening and they were arrested. A group of three males are wanted by Montgomery County Police after reports that they stole a juvenile's boys shoes, money and cell phone, according to a recent crime summary. The boy reported that he was near the intersection of Meadow Hill Road and Lockwood Drive in White Oak on Friday, Feb. 10 around 11:45 p.m. The male suspects (detailed descriptions were not provided to police) threatened him with a stun gun and demanded the items from him. Four different apartments, three in White Oak and one on Castle Boulevard were burgled in four-day period with two of the crime happening on the same day, according to a report from Montgomery County Police. On Sunday, Feb. 5, two purses were stolen from an apartment int he 11600 block of Lockwood Drive between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. Police say the perpetrator entered through an unlocked sliding glass door. That same day, between 2 a.m. and 11 a.m., a laptop, video game system and a DVD player was stolen from an apartment in the 11700 block of Old Columbia Pike.
