We're back in Burtonsville Crossing for this week's "Visions for Vacancies," at the location formerly known as Pet Barn. The household animal emporium moved to Maple Lawn in Howard County last December and its old spot in Burtonsville is still empty. What do you want to see in this vacancy? Another pet store? Some sort of clothing store? A restaurant? So, this "Visions for Vacancies" is pretty simple: What do you want to see in the old KFC/Taco Bell site in Burtonsville Crossing shopping center? The building is perfect for another fast-food restaurant (what else would need a drive-thru?), so we want to know your preference. For new readers, this column highlights prominent vacancies in the area and asks you what businesses or services you would like to see occupy the space.
