John DeMarchi is the Head of School at Evergreen School in Silver Spring, Maryland.  He was formerly the Associate Head of School at the Woods Academy in Bethesda and served as Middle School Coordinator at Concordia International School Shanghai.  John and his wife, Jane, live in Bethesda with their two children.

Evergreen School is an independent, co-educational Montessori school for children from 2 years old through 3rd grade. They have been educating children in the Montessori tradition since 1964. Evergreen's mission is to help each child reach his or her fullest potential. The school prepares students to be independent thinkers, lifetime learners, and responsible citizens.
