ReplyWho was asleep at the switch? Certainly not the taxpayers and yet we are footing the bill. No support cables? Concrete not poured to specifications? If it weren't so infuriating it would be funny.

ReplyWe cannot have too many trees or too much natural space. The traffic is terrible, the unfinished SS Transit is an eyesore and public space is just what we need to cut the pollution and provide citizens with peaceful surroundings.

ReplyI can't believe these politicians are actually going to charge the taxpayers for the incompetence of the contractors THEY hired and for their inability to manage the project THEY commissioned. They will be voted out.

ReplyThe county adopts a policy, under duress, to approve low-cost housing in the east, despite the number of citizens who are employeed to the west. Is it any wonder there is a 22 percent income gap.

ReplyShouldn't they have kept this close an eye on the project from the beginning? Certainly from the moment they learned those charlatans poured the concrete faultily. This really is a prime example of closing the barn door after the horse have all run out.

ReplyThis is my post office and I was terrified by this story last year. I was asked to step in front of someone at the Walmart and all I could do was wonder if some crazy was going to pull out a knife.

ReplyI'm a liberal who is pro capital punishment. I think this is a mistake but I understand being against it.

The bottom line: these cameras are effective. They catch speeders and red light runners. I just wish more cops were out there dealing with other moving violations of the extremely aggressive, dangerous drivers all over the roads.
