Mark lived in New Jersey for his entire life before leaving to attend the University of Maryland–College Park in the fall of 2009. Now a senior, Mark is set to graduate this spring with a degree in journalism and English.

In his time at Maryland, Mark has held a number of impressive positions in the journalism field. After starting at The Diamondback (the University of Maryland’s student-run independent newspaper) in the fall of 2011 as a copy editor, Mark has since worked his way up to the position of Assistant Managing Editor.

Mark has also worked as a contributing writer for USA Weekend Magazine, an editorial intern at McClatchy-Tribune News Services and as a writer for Scout.com.

Mark enjoys a good book, intramural basketball, running for undisclosed amounts of time and not being confused with the more famous and better-looking Mark Sanchez of the New York Jets.
