Silver Spring La Madeleine to Open 'Late March'
French country eatery leased space on Georgia Avenue between Wayne Avenue and Bonifant Street.
Crêpes as authentic as you can get this side of the Atlantic Ocean are on their way to downtown Silver Spring. La Madeleine, a Dallas-based chain of "French country" cafes will open on Georgia Avenue in late March, according to a representative from the company.
The company will open its fifth Maryland location between Wayne Avenue and Bonifant Street on Georgia Avenue. Other restaurants in the state are in Annapolis, Bethesda, Columbia and Rockville.
According to La Madeleine's website, the restaurant serves French-inspired sandwiches, soups, salads, pastas and pastries.
