Silver Spring Zombie Walk

  The Official Silver Spring Zombie Walk is back from the dead! By popular demand, the dead will walk the earth from Sidebar to AFI Silver Theater on Saturday, October 26th.  The zombies will assemble at Sidebar at 8 pm, the walk will begin at 9, and at 10:15 AFI will be showing the classic zombie movie, "Return of the Living Dead."

  The route for the walk this year will take the undead marching straight through the heart of Downtown Silver Spring.  They'll gather on Selim Road (right in front of Sidebar) and from there they'll stagger up Sligo and travel North on Fenton Street towards their final destination, AFI Silver Theater on Colesville Road.

  Sidebar and Jackie's will be offering zombie-themed specials all night! Guests who dine in costume at Jackie's will receive 20% off of their bill, and next door at Sidebar there will be a special menu of zombie refreshments. 

  This is going to be the biggest gathering of the walking dead that Silver Spring has ever seen.  Zombies of all ages are welcome to come and join the zombie hoard!
