Bank Robbed in White Oak Thursday

Police are looking for the man pictured in these surveillance photos.

The Capital One Bank at 11261 New Hampshire Avenue in Silver Spring was robbed shortly before 2 p.m. on Thursday, according to Montgomery County police.

Police are looking for a suspect described as a black man in his mid-20′s, 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-6, and weighing 150 to 190 pounds.  He was wearing glasses and a baseball hat and had his hair styled in long dreadlocks. He was dressed in a yellow long-sleeved shirt and black or blue jeans.

Police said in a news release that the suspect entered the bank, approached the teller and produced a note demanding money. After the teller gave him cash, the suspect fled.
