Free Concerts, Entertainment in July in Silver Spring
Planning a night out? Keep these free summer performances in mind.
When it comes to free summer concerts and other entertainment, downtown Silver Spring has got every weeknight this month covered.
Monday
The Gandhi Brigade, with its mission for youth media with Gandhi principles, will do performances each Monday at Veterans Plaza. The group is located in City Place Mall, according to its website. View the full calendar on the Gandhi Brigade website.
Tuesday
Silver Spring Town Center Inc. presents Twilight Tuesdays at Veterans Plaza from 7-9 p.m.
Wednesday
STARZ presents free concerts featuring Latin, blues, indie, rock, swing, jazz and more at Veterans Plaza from 7-9 p.m. each Wednesday.
Thursday
Starting July 11, Discovery Communications presents four free concerts at Veterans Plaza from 7-9 p.m. each Thursday. The series features blues, jazz, R&B and rock 'n' roll musicians.
Friday
Downtown Live! concerts continue on the Fountain Plaza Stage in Silver Spring, on Ellsworth Drive from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
